Glass from recycled bottles is one of my main jewellery materials. Some pieces are cut and polished cold, like stone, some are melted and fused in a kiln then refined by grinding. The dichotomy between glass and stone keeps generating ideas for me. How can they be decorated (as opposed to being decoration)? How can they become the main part of a construction without a bezel setting? Here the approach toward carving techniques is magnified.
